Children's waterproof clothing, 0-12 years
Didriksons and Elka both use Polyurethane - an incredibly soft and flexible, highly waterproof material - to produce wide ranges of children's rain wear. All seams are welded for complete water-tightness. These rain suits, coats, dungarees and trousers are ideal as protection against rain and wind or even sleet and snow when worn over warm layers. We now also offer fantastic sturdy wellies, perfect for splashing in the mud or on the beach, or for playing in snow.

Forest Schools and VikingKids: how it started
In January 2008 we were very excited to have been chosen to help equip 10 inner city schools with waterproof dungarees and rain sets for Forest School, in an IKEA-sponsored project!

Forest School leaders looked at children's wet weather gear provided by a number of UK companies (including other Scandinavian brands), and were most impressed by the quality of our waterproofs from Didriksons. We know that the children still continue to enjoy their wet weather gear!

Rain sets for parents and teachers too!
By popular demand, we are now also selling Didriksons great nylon shell rain sets for ladies, as well as a unisex/men's version. Both sets have have taped seams, adjustable hoods and sleeves, a full-length zip with storm flap and come with comfortable elasticated trousers, which a recent review in the Scottish Farmer found to be by far the best waterproof trousers available on the market in the UK.

Waterproof dungarees and waterproof trousers
The dungarees from Didriksons' and Elka's 2-piece sets are available to purchase on their own, in navy or red (navy only for the Elka model). We also offer elasticated trousers by Didriksons, in their flagship 2-layer laminate PU membrane. The new model offers leg adjustments with and an adjustable waist, while the previous model with velcro adjusters at the bottom of the legs is available at a reduced price, while stocks last.

Across Scandinavia, all-in-one suits tend to be used mainly in cold temperatures, as they are wonderful for keeping children very warm (for year-round use separate jackets and dungarees/trousers are usually preferred). Children's wellies
By popular demand we are stocking Didriksons fantastic children's wellies, to complement our
2-piece rain suits and waterproof trousers / dungarees. The groove under the instep has been especially designed for keeping the stirrup strap of waterproof overtrousers in place without treading on them. Lovely and sturdy, with all seams welded, a reinforced toe and heel and a structured sole, these funky little wellington boots are ideal for comfortable play on mud and sleet!
